Day 28 Nairobi

Early the next morning, Dad and John headed through to Nairobi, John to pick up a package from South Africa, and Dad to try and find some riding pants to replace the ones he had lost in Malawi.

With the bike work all done, Shan and I spent the rest of the morning and early afternoon reading, writing, swimming, playing guitar and justDay 29 (Nairobi to Marsabit) 2012-01-27 016 (640x480) generally relaxing. The other two returned around 3 PM, neither had had any success in their tasks. Shan took Amanda for a bike ride around the plantation, and after a meal of chicken pita’s that Shan and I prepared we stayed up late again chatting, making plans to maybe do a 2 month bike ride around the USA with Jerrod and Amanda in 2015. A big thank-you must again go out to Billy, Darleen, Jerrod and Amanda for inviting us into their beautiful home and allowing us a chance to regain our composure and sanity. We hope we will have a chance to return the favour if you are ever in Cape Town in the future.
