The Children’s Hospital Trust is the fundraising arm of the Red Cross War Memorial Children’s Hospital, known throughout the world for its outstanding standard of care for children, and as a renowned teaching hospital, whose influence extends across southern Africa, Africa, and internationally. It is the only remaining specialist pediatric hospital left in Africa.
The Trust has been fundraising since 1994, and has supported the Hospital through upgrading its building, purchasing vital equipment and funding critical training and research programmes. The Provincial Government, while it supports the operational costs, is unable to meet every need, which is why the Trust works so hard to raise ongoing funding to address the many pressing needs of this extraordinary hospital for children.
The Children’s Trust epitomizes the spirit of generosity and the will of the Nation that ensures that its children receive the best possible medical care. The work of the Hospital is never-ending, and the task of maintaining the standard of excellence is as important now as it was when the Trust was formed 15 years ago.
By clicking on the Children’s Trust logo, you will be directed to the website where you can make a donation to the Trust. 100% of your donation will go to the Trust, specifically. to the Paediatric Infectious Diseases Unit. The Trust issues Section 18a tax certificates for all donations over R100 per annum, which are tax deductible for South Africans. Please use “4 Bikes 4 Singapore” as your reference.
Because we will have no record of your donation, (only the hospital trust will know, provided you have referenced the donation with “4 Bikes 4 Singapore”), we cannot acknowledge or thank you personally, but be assured, it is very much appreciated.

Sorry I missed you on your testrun.
Holding thumbs that the last elements fall into place without hickups.
Way to Go!!!

Thanks Corinne. Yes we missed not seeing you too, but had a great, but short visit with Barry, which we enjoyed. You keep well, and I hope you have a busy season in Kleinmond. Mal
